Roads in Kampala

18 Mar

Just Horrible. Absolutely Horrible.

I am talking about the roads in Kampala.

Seriously! I heard a rumour that we had a ministry that deals with disaster-preparedness (what ever that is supposed to mean)

I just makes me sooooooooooooooo mad. You know the other part that really gets to me: when you decided to make your own village road THEY JAM YOU!!! I mean wats up with that?????!!!!!!!

Mulago, Gayaza Road, Wandegeya (to mention but a few) – they just turn into Gullies!

Yet Tax is paid every month, on and off we see newspaper ad’s about Money for road reconstruction. Apparently Gayaza Road has been in the budget for a few years – WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO????

As in….

I am just speechless….

We don’t want you to do your usual SHODDY PATCH UP job!!

Isnt paying taxes still optional if you have the choice ?! If you opt in, then your taxes go towards sending someone’s kids to private school/uni not to road repair.

And the way downtown Kampala including both taxi parks get muddy after it has rained, you’d think you are in some dirty village in 1900
